Why Black Pastors Should Stand With Israel

On January 28, The New York Times published a story entitled 'Black Pastors Pressure Biden to Call for a Cease-Fire in Gaza.' More than 1,000 Black clergy signed the letter to President Biden urging an end to the Israel-Hamas war. Yet, Hamas - the terrorists that killed or abducted some 1,300 Israelis on October 7 - is hardly mentioned in the letter.

What are Black leaders not being told about the war in Gaza? Who is truly responsible for the humanitarian crisis among the Palestinian people? What are the connections between Hamas in Gaza and Boko Haram in Nigeria (where there is a Christian genocide)? And what does it mean to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem" in a time like this.
